Inventory Management Software in Guyana: Stock Control Built Into Your POS

Inventory management built into your POS in Guyana: stock updated with every sale, low stock reports, wholesale pricing, credit accounts. WhatsApp (592) 600-1096 for a demo.

Friday evening on Sheriff Street. The van is at the bay door with forty cases of drinks, the counter has a line, and somebody asks, "We have any more of the 5-gallon paint?" Nobody knows for sure. Somebody goes to the back to check. The book says twelve. The shelf says three.

That gap between the book and the shelf is where money leaks out of a Guyanese shop. Not in one big loss, but a few items here, a wrong count there, a case sold at retail price when it should have gone at the wholesale price. Inventory management software closes that gap. With Computing Core, it is not a separate program. It is built into the POS system you already use at the counter.

Every sale updates your stock

When you scan an item at the counter, the sale and the stock count change together. There is no end-of-day tally from the book and no spreadsheet to reconcile at month end. If the POS says you have three gallons of paint left, you have three gallons of paint left.

That works whether you run a hardware shop in Corriverton, a cash-and-carry on the East Coast, or a supermarket with a few thousand lines. Barcode scanning keeps the counter moving, and the count stays right without anybody writing it down.

Know what to reorder before you run out

OnlinePOS has a low stock report. You set a reorder point for each item, and the report shows you what needs reordering now. Check it on a Monday morning before you call your suppliers, and you order what you actually need instead of guessing from memory.

Purchase orders sit in the same system. You can see what you ordered from each supplier and what has come in, so when the van arrives, you check the delivery against the order right there.

Wholesale and retail in one system

Plenty of Guyanese businesses sell both ways: a single bottle to a walk-in customer, and a case to a rum shop owner or a fast food stand that buys every week. Multi-tier pricing lets you set the retail price and the wholesale or case price on the same item, so the right price comes up for the right customer.

Goods on account, tracked properly

Trust is how a lot of business gets done here. A regular customer takes goods on account and pays at the end of the month. Customer credit accounts in the POS track each balance and credit limit, so you are not flipping through the book trying to remember who owes what.

More than one location

If you have a second branch or a separate yard for stock, the Premium plan adds multi-location management, so you can see stock across each location instead of calling around to ask.

Works when the current goes

All Computing Core POS software works online and offline. For the best offline experience, we recommend the Lenovo Tiny desktop computer in our hardware package. You can also choose a Samsung tablet, and its battery keeps you selling longer during a blackout.

We set it up with you

Your stock setup is not left to you. Implementation is led by Loreena De Cunha, co-founder of Computing Core, who structures your products, categories and pricing tiers with you on-site. If your stock lives in a notebook or an Excel sheet today, that is where we start.
